In King County, the median price for single-family homes and condos reached $860,000, while in Snohomish County, it was $762,500. For single-family homes alone, King County saw a 5% increase in median price, rising from $906,250 last year to $955,000.

Meanwhile, Snohomish County experienced a 7% increase, with the median price climbing from $730,563 to $780,000.

The AHC supports candidates who share our commitment to making home happen and worked tirelessly this election cycle to do just that. We’re proud to have conducted over 75 candidate interviews across King and Snohomish counties, engaging with more than 100 campaigns for city, county, and state legislative offices. Each conversation focused on one core goal: ensuring that local and regional leaders understand and prioritize policies that make housing more attainable for everyone in our communities.

While the Seattle mayor’s race is still too close to call, other AHC-backed mayors dominated the ballot—from Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Issaquah, Lynnwood, Monroe, Snohomish, and Stanwood to Everett. These wins reflect the region’s confidence in candidates committed to practical approaches that increase housing supply and improve permitting efficiency, so current residents, newcomers, and future generations have a place to call home.

Of the 89 candidates the AHC endorsed this election cycle, 61 won, with a few races still too close to call.
